8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (CST) CISR Class
This Elements of Risk Management CISR class will be taught by Katie Kochenower.
In order to earn CE or designation credits, you will need to attend all seven hours and reply to all roll calls throughout the day.
There will also be additional time after the class to go over the exam review. This extra time is optional if you need it to ask questions. You'll then have three days to complete the exam with the National Alliance, Monday, February 1 - Thursday, February 4.
Once you have registered and paid for the course, you will receive an email a day or two before the event date. This email will have the link to the webinar and information and instructions to make sure your computer is ready to watch the class. If you have any technical difficulties, please contact us as soon as possible at 402.476.2951.
WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN THIS COURSE:
Insurance professionals need training in the risk management process for two reasons. First, insurance is an integral part of their client's overall risk management program. Second, services provided by carriers, agencies and brokerages are often significant items in the organization's cost of risk. In this course we will cover each of the five powerful steps in this process, which protects not only the organization's assets, but also its mission and its brand.
Exam Information: We have been working with The National Alliance to grant you access to the corresponding online CISR exam should you choose to take the essay question exam. The exam will be available to you through your PROfile page beginning at 12:01 am CST on the Monday following this course and will be open for three days until 11:59 pm on Wednesday. If there is any issue with the timing, please contact the National Alliance as soon as possible.
CISR online exams require a proctor. You need an individual to proctor you while you take the online exam. They fill out the proctor affidavit after you submit the exam acknowledging that they served as a proctor for you and all rules and processes were followed accordingly. Due to COVID-19, the proctoring rules have been relaxed so that you may use a family member and/or significant other as your proctor. You are also welcome to use an online proctoring system such as MonitorEDU.com.
